The 12th Light Horse Regiment was raised, as part of the 4th Light Horse Brigade, at Liverpool, NSW, on 1 March 1915 and sailed in two contingents in June 1915. Identified, first from left, front row, is 294 Trooper (Tpr) Charles Doherty.
