Steel Shield for MG08 machine gun
Description
Steel shield 3 feet 8 inches wide, x 2 feet 4 inches high, x 3/8 inches thick, through which a round hole 2 1/2 inches in diameter has been placed about two inches above cooling jacket and slightly to the left. A narrow slit 5 inches x 1 inch further to the left again permits observation. Both are provided with adjustable pivoting shutters.
