RG 42 Anti Personnel Hand Grenade
Description
The RG 42 hand grenade is a concussion fragmentation grenade that was used by Russian, Warsaw Pact and Chinese forces. The grenade body is a plain steel, light gauge cylinder with no serrations. The grenade body encloses a separate fragmentation sheet that is formed into a pregrooved diamond shaped pattern. The grenade is painted black and the striker assembly has broken off and fallen into the grenade body. The safety pin and lever are missing. Markings - cyrillic cyphers - TPCIW; 286.
