Kittyhawk amongst the sand dunes: a Warhawk of 3 Squadron RAAF
Description
A Merlin-engined Kittyhawk (or Warhawk) of 3 Squadron in a dispersal bay, Vasto, Italy, March 1944. This aircraft still retained the buff and brown camouflage of the western desert.
