The mobile blacksmith
Description
Showing the interior of the 2/9 Australian Armoured Regiment mobile blacksmith truck with a craftsman using the heavy pedestal grinder. The cylinder on the left is an acetylene generator for welding. The forge and the anvil have been lifted out of the truck and can be seen on the left. In the right foreground is a 60-ton press.
