Apparatus for final test for respirators (Commonwealth explosives factory, Maribyrnong)
Description
At the Commonwealth Explosives Factory, which was the only factory in the Commonwealth where these masks were assembled and tested. The operation, which was hitherto performed at the Munitions Supply Laboratories is now carried out in the Cartridge bundling section at this factory. The heads for testing the respirators are known as 'jigs'.
