Workmen's ferry for Chinese war-workers, Brisbane River
Description
Rushing for the ferry, the mob of yelling Chinese, once part of the crew of ships destroyed in the war, were employed by the U.S. Army as labourers. Hundreds of them worked along the Brisbane Waterfront.
