Drawing of the New Zealand positions on the Thermopylae-Pass, as seen from the direction of the German advance. New Zealand troops, forming with the 6th Australian Division, the ANZAC Corps, fought determined rearguard actions on this line of withdrawal of the British forces from Greece in 1941.
