Description

Depicts a head and shoulders portrait of Aircraftman P Connelly, RAAF, wearing a cap. The portrait was painted on board a Navy ship between Sydney and Lae, New Guinea. A prolific painter and print maker, Kenneth Jack (b.1924) served with the RAAF as a survey and cartographic draughtsman in New Guinea, Borneo and Morotai from 1943-45.
