Description

Several concrete workers shoveling, drilling and directing the movement of concrete slabs in front of buildings and other construction at Sydney Graving Dock. McClintock's focus on the immensity of these structures is demonstrative of the scale of the project being undertaken. The artist also utilises social realism as a means to facilitate the viewer's appreciation of the co-operation between workers.
