Berbera - HMAS "Hobart"
Description
Impression from Captain Howden's (HMAS Hobart) report of the evacuation of Berbera. The two tugs "Queen" and "Zeila" are steaming out to the ships in the harbour. On the land, naval ratings maintain communications, maintain order, collect tired out troops in trucks and with officers as beachmasters, transfer troops, civilians and sick to the transports and hospital ship "Vita", Berbera, British Somaliland.
