In the Syrian campaign this mobile workshop was captured from the French. By degrees it has been equipped with parts from enemy workshops etc. Its present equipment consist of a lathe, drilling machine and two sets of grinders; in addition to work benches, vices etc. A motor provides an electric drive for the plant. Sides of the workbenches fold up when on the move. A stores truck is part of the workshops. This has done much good work in minor repairs and salvage jobs which would otherwise have to be flown or taken some hundreds of miles to bases. No.3 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force, El Galaza, Libya.
