Unloading Liberty ships
Description
The no.7 Docks Operating Company, Royal Australian Engineers, worked 24hour shifts unloading the Liberty ships, and the Commanding Officer Major R.A Bruce can be given credit for the magnificent work of unloading supplies and equipment urgently needed in the occupation of Madang. This sketch shows a jeep being hauled out of the hull, Madang, New Guinea.
