Quarters occupied by 1st Australian Division: letters and rations
Description
A view of the interior of the quarters occupied by the First Australian Division, at Strazeele, Lys area, Western Front. Four soldiers sit around a central table, two are reading letters. There is food and a candlestick on the table. Three soldiers relax in a corner of the room or near a kettle. The room is decorated with items on shelves and pictures in frames.
