Bangkok Canal
Description
Many of the Australian and Allied prisoners-of-war who were sent by the Japanese to work on the Thailand-Burma Railway, passed through Bangkok. After the Japanese surrender, those still in the area spent happy hours in this pleasant city whilst awaiting repatriation.
