Description
Depicts a portrait of Red Cross Aid, Mrs J. Gutierrez from the Brighton Branch of the Red Cross Society in Victoria. Red Cross Aids assisted with Convalescent Hospital work, Immunisation work at Health Centres, Baby Health Centre work, First aidwork at A.R.P. Centres, Red Cross Canteen work for Convalescent out-patients and Private Hospital work. Official war artist Sybil Craig Craig was appointed to record home-front activities and chose to record the involvement of women working in the ammunition factories and services in Victoria.
