Red Cross Aids assisted with Convalescent Hospital work, Immunisation work at Health Centres, Baby Health Centre work, First aidwork at A.R.P. Centres, Red Cross Canteen work for Convalescent out-patients and Private Hospital work. Official war artist Sybil Craig Craig was appointed to record home-front activities and chose to record the involvement of women working in the ammunition factories and services in Victoria.
