Convoy on road
Description
A road showing several military three-ton vehicles travelling in convoy through the landscape near Atherton, North Queensland. Several army divisions camped on the Atherton Tablelands during the Second World War. It was a signficant Medical base with over 2,000 staff caring for returned service men and women. There was also a training ground which would prepare troops for conflict in the tropics.
