Flight Lieutenant D G M Hills
Portrait of 501300 Flight Lieutenant David Graeme Muspratt Hills, who was a member of the Royal Air Force serving with the Royal Australian Air Force in Korea. Flight Lieutenant Hills was his squadron's Medical Officer who arrived for duty in Korea on 29 July 1951. He received a Mention in Dispatches for his efforts and vigilance in keeping the squadron's rate of sickess low in a severe and changeable climate. "His devotion to duty and his untiring effort to remain on duty for long periods have been an example to all and is in keeping with the highest traditions of the RAF." The Queen approved the 27 recommendations for commendation and this was published in the London Gazette on 3 October 1952 and in the Commonwealth Gazette on 9 October 1952.
