Semakh, looking from Yarmuk
Description
Depicts a valley with a lake, with hills in the distance, viewed from above. A light horseman sits on a rise overlooking the valley, an Arab rides a donkey down the slope and a grey horse stands beside the path leading down into the valley. Semakh, looking from Yarmuk. Semakh had been the scene of a courageous Australian attack in September 1918.
