Officers' tent lines, Adelaide River
Description
Depicts a row of tents known as the officers' lines, Adelaide River camp. The Adelaide River played a major role during the Second World War. It was in this area that the 119 Australian General Hospital and huge military base were established. The American and Australian military also set up headquarters at Adelaide River after Darwin was bombed.
