AIF embarking at Stonewall Wharf, Sydney
Description
In April 1941 Norton recorded troops from 2 Australian Imperial Force disembarking from a train to board a ferry at Pyrmont in Sydney. The ferry would then take them out to a transport ship. Several convoys were departing Sydney at this time, taking troops to either Malaya or the Middle East. The Sydney city buildings can be seen across Darling Harbour.
