Patrol sequence: Japanese sighted
Description
One of a series of paintings depicting a patrol of the 2/10 Australian Commando Squadron in the Suain Plantation area, New Guinea. It shows the use of hand movements for giving orders and of figures crouching into the surrounding undergrowth at the first signs of the Japanese.
