Winston Churchill took time out to inspect the 4th Hussars of which he is the Colonel-in-Chief. He was accompanied by his son and daughter. The Teheran Conference was held at the Soviet Embassy in Teheran on 28 November to 1 December 1943 and was the first meeting of the war for Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin. Shows some of the senior officers and officials present including Marshal Kliment Voroshilov, Anthony Eden and the Shah of Persia. Presentation of an ornate sword to Stalin by Churchill in honour of the battle of Stalingrad. Note that the scene has been edited because Stalin let the sword fall from the scabbard.
