Description
RAAF Rathmines flying boat base. General coverage of facilities and maintenance to Consolidated Catalina flying boats. Staged sequence of a Catalina operation by 42 Squadron RAAF (code RK-M). Good shots of the interior of aircraft, cockpit, navigator, radar operator and waist gun position. Waist gunner fakes firing of Browning machine gun intercut with combat footage of a ship being strafed.
