Arrival of British flying boats
Description
The Far East Flight RAF consisting of four British Southampton Flying Boats successfully complete their flight from Plymouth to Melbourne. The flight left Britain on 17 September 1927. Formation flight over Queenscliff and Point Cook. The flight land on Port Phillip Bay on 30 June 1928 and taxi to the moorings at St. Kilda. The Commander of the flight Group Captain Henry Meyrick Cave-Browne-Cave DSO, DFC and his party are welcomed at St Kilda.
