Operation and maintenance C-5 Windlass (Tow targets)
Description
US War Department training film TF 1-239 produced by the Signal Corps in collaboration with the Chief of Air Corps. Shows the maintenance of the C-5 Windlass and exchange release of tow targets. Uses animated diagrams to show the principle of operation as well as aerial footage of the tow target in operation from a Boeing B-18 bomber. Also shows malfunctions of the system.
