Australian Comforts Fund mobile unit on RAF station for Australian airmen serving in the RAF (C/B 375)
Description
An Australian Comforts Fund (ACF) mobile canteen at a RAF airfield. Beaufighter aircraft in invasion stripes parked on airfield. Airmen gather around the truck and comforts are distributed to the men. A display of the comforts issued. These include shoe polish, cigarettes, chewing gum and soap. Also distributed are winter clothing such as jumpers, sheepskins, mittens and stocks.
