Big duty for dogs
Description
RAAF Public Relations news film release on training of RAAF police dogs for guard duties. The item shows handlers walking Alsation dogs; the dog kennels; grooming dog; a WRAAF corporal pets one of the dogs (which normally is not encouraged by handlers. The dogs run a training course each day over hurdles, through hoops etc. a simulated attack on another handler dressed in protective garments is shown. Sergeant "Blue" Byrnes is identified.
