Interview with Pilot Officer M J Haxell, DFC
Description
RAAF public relations team interview 0218798 Pilot Officer (PO) Michael John Haxell, DFC, of Nicholson Street North Manly NSW PO Haxell is now (February 1968) serving with No. 5 Squadron at RAAF base, Fairbairn. During the interview shots of scenes previously scene listed from other items received from RAAF Public Realations are shown over voice. The Minister for Air Mr Howson announced on Tuesday 13 February 1968 the award of the DFC to PO Haxell for outstanding service in South Vietnam as a helicopter pilot.
