Field air-line
Description
RAOC training film C50, produced and photographed by "A" Corps Signals, Aldershot 1935. Air-line standard equipment provides for routes carrying two to eight wires. This film deals with four wires. A silent film with sub-titles to support visuals. Part 1: illustrates the number of men to construct a four wire air-line, equipment, poles, cross bars, insulators, wire and the tools used by each man. Part 2: Layout of route markers and erection of line. Part 3: Possible faults and their correction; duties of repair gangs.
