Description
RAOC training film C51 B78, estimated date of production pre-1939. 51st `Dragon' Field Battery, Royal .Artillery (RA), assisted by 54th Battery, RA, the 2nd Battalion (Bn). Duke Cornwall's Light Infantry and the 1st Bn Durham Light Infantry (machine Guns). This film demonstrates the following principles in artillery co-operation with other arms in mobile operations: 1. Liaison. 2. Continous artillery observation. 3. Continous covering fire. A silent print supported by sub-titles. Animated maps used to show tactical moves. Note: Universal carriers being used to tow field guns and for Infantry use.
