Description
Fox Movietone newsreel on the sinking of the Tirpitz. On 12 November 1944 Lancaster aircraft of 9 and 617 Squadron RAF, with Bomber Command, some with Australian crews, succeeded in sinking the German battleship Tirpitz while she lay in Tromso Fjord, Norway.
