Changing of the guard at the Emperor's palace
Description
On 11 May 1946, forty men under Lieutenant Chapman from 65 Australian Infantry Battalion took over guard duties from the American 7 Cavalry Regiment. This was the first BCOF guard on the Palace. Inspection of guard was made by Brigadier General Hoffman, US Cavalry Commander.
