Vietnam scenes
This item is made up of different four films 1. [colour silent] Vietnamese craftsmen at work. Street scenes, tri-cycle taximen, street peddlers, women labourers and various scenes at the markets. A river and boys fishing. 2. [colour silent] Australian soldiers wading across a stream to hook up a wire to aid in crossing. Checking papers of a group of Vietnamese harvesting bamboo who were on the opposite side of the stream. The Australians move out the Vietnamese taking them across the stream and helping carry the baskets of harvested bamboo. 3. [b&w silent] Australians conducting a village search. Vietnamese women official distributing gifts. Australians provide medical aid to the villagers. Scenes of damaged village huts. A wounded Vietnamese man is evacuated on a stretcher and taken away in an Army Landrover. 4. [b&w sound] A concert at Nui Dat featuring Lorrae Desmond singing.
