Description

Leila Lowrie interviewed by Georgina Binns at the Hobart Repatriation Hospital on 9 January 1986. Leila was 13 years old when the war started in 1914. Leila became a teacher at a Hobart high school and played and taught the piano. She discusses her husband who was a stretcher bearer in the First World War, music and the Theatre Royal.
