Group portrait of United States and Australian defence personnel standing with a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter engine cowling during a transfer parade at the NATO Role 3 Multinational Medical Unit (MMU), Kandahar. Left to right is: an unidentified United States Naval Petty Officer; Master Chief Staples, United States Navy; Captain Meneley, United States Navy; Major General Smith; Warrant Officer Class 1 Mustafa Jesenkovic; Flying Officer Heugh. The engine cowling was used as an emergency stretcher in the evacuation of casualties off a Black Hawk helicopter which crashed on 21 June 2010 in Northern Kandahar, Afghanistan. The engine cowling is held in the National Collection of the Australian War Memorial.
