Description
Captain Arthur James Lee SX2917, OC B Company, 2/27th Battalion, interviewed by the author Peter Brune as research for his books on Second World War New Guinea conflicts (Brune catalogue 54 and 55). Cpt Lee was born on 30 July 1912 and enlisted in Berri SA. He was awarded a Military Cross and bar in 1942. Later Lt Col then Sir Arthur Lee became President RSL.
