Staff of 2/1 Australian General Hospital gather at the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) Mobile Broadcasting Unit truck. The women are members of the Voluntary Detatchment Aid (VAD) and the Australian Army Medical Women's Service (AAMWS). As part of the series "Voices from Overseas", the ABC is recording the messages of members of the AIF. Messages are later presented in radio broadcasts in Australia.
