Identified is 3401 Private (Pte) Francis George Le Couilliard, 7th Battalion, a farmer of Cowangie, Victoria (formerly of Jersey, Channel Islands). Pte Le Couilliard was later wounded on the Western Front and invalided to hospital in England to recuperate from gun shot wounds to the neck and shoulder.
