Description
Studio portrait of 883 Private (Pte) Axel Oscar Polsson, 2nd Battalion. Pte Morgan, an electrical mechanic from Mount Morgan, Queensland, enlisted on 17 August 1914 and embarked from Sydney on 18 October 1914 aboard HMAT Suffolk (A23). He died of wounds on 10 May 1915 from wounds received at Gallipoli and was buried at sea. He was aged 20.
