Studio portrait of Private (Pte) 3152 George Redpath, 42nd Battalion. He embarked at Sydney with his unit in February 1917, and was killed in action at the Battle of Broodseinde on 4 October of the same year. Pte Redpath's name is recorded on the Menin Gate Memorial at Ypres, Belgium.
