Mixed Collection relating to 752 Roland Edward Longworth
Description
Men of D Company, 1st Battalion Imperial Camel Corps en route. 752 Sergeant Roland Edward Longworth, formerly 3rd Battalion, is in this group; he returned to Australia on 11 July 1917.
The message on the verso reads:
"Dear Mater and Alb, This is a picture of our company taken at Sollum. In case you are losing your eyesight looking for me, I am on this side - the right side of the second group. I am quite OK again, and will write you again shortly - best love from your affectionate Roland. 17.5.16.
