This photograph is one of four affixed to a loose album page and is part of a collection relating to Russell Bruce Clark and his father, Francis George Clark who both served in the Second World War. Francis Clark served in the First World War and then volunteered for service in the Second World War, stating he was 39 years old (he was 47 years old) in order to meet the age requirement for enlistment. He was killed in action on 7 June 1941 during the siege of Tobruk.
