Description
An American 'hooch' or accommodation building, at Nui Dat, Vietnam, which housed three American soldiers: John Spindler, Steven Kottman and Wendel Burkholder. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by 2784336 Signalman Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Signalman Weller writes: "We Australians lived in tents but the Americans generally didn’t: they constructed buildings. The tent in which I lived was little more than twenty metres from this building."
