Description
Portrait of 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, with his parents Leslie and Doreen Weller in front of the caravan park service station they owned on the Pacific Highway. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Sig Weller recalls: "I’d been home for Christmas 1966 ... With my bag at the ready, Mum, Dad and I stood in front of the Caravan Park café waiting for a customer so we could have this shot taken. I then walked out the driveway to the Pacific Highway and hitchhiked back to Brisbane."
