Sig Weller remembers: "After catching the QANTAS flight out of Manila and enduring a short stopover in Port Moresby, we landed in Sydney. My family had been advised of my arrival and Robert had accompanied my mother and eldest brother Douglas Bruce Weller to Sydney to meet me and take me back to Nabiac for a few days before I returned to Sydney for my discharge from the army."
