Description
Doreen Weller greets her son 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, on his return from a tour of National Service in Vietnam. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Sig Weller remembers: "After catching the QANTAS flight out of Manila and enduring a short stopover in Port Moresby, we landed in Sydney. My family had been advised of my arrival and Robert had accompanied my mother and eldest brother Douglas Bruce Weller to Sydney to meet me and take me back to Nabiac for a few days before I returned to Sydney for my discharge from the army."
