Sig Weller recalls: "Wiley was one of the four men in my tent and he was selected to 'go out on an operation' several times. If the operation was to be a big one and the Task Force Commander also went out, then a detachment from 104 Signal Squadron also went to provide radio and teleprinter communications back to Nui Dat and through us, Vung Tau, Saigon and Australia."
