Collection relating to the Second World War service of WX9926 Captain Mervyn James Keley, 2/32 Australian Infantry Battalion, Borneo, 1945.
Collection consists of a six-page handwritten letter with envelope, to Miss Amy Turner from Captain Mervyn James Keley dated 31 December 1945. The letters discusses Miss Turner's move to Melbourne, the weather to expect there, his work in Borneo (largely guarding Japanese prisoners), his opinions on his work, and that he wishes everyone had a happy Christmas and an even happier one in 1946.
