A P40 Kittyhawk aircraft of 77 Squadron, RAAF, based at Vivigani, on Goodenough island, Papua New Guinea, displaying nose art depicting a demonic kangaroo holding a bomb in one hand whilst beckoning a Japanese soldier with the other. The nose art is titled ‘And the devil take the hindmost’ (not visible). This aircraft was flown by Flight Lieutenant (later Squadron Leader) Roger Charles Macdonald Kimpton of Toorak, Vic.
