Description
Typescript series of chapters in which Oakes summarises Australia's participation in W2. Covers military and naval operations, medicine and medical services and the peace treaty with Japan. After his time as a prisoner of the Japanese, Oakes served with the 1st Australian War Crimes Section South East Asia Command.
